Our People
Our service is all about people. And the first thing you need to know about any one of our team is that you can trust them. That’s why, before they get trained every single ACS staff member undergoes enhanced criminal records bureau disclosure checks and verifications. Each one is also fully insured to carry out all of the duties agreed of them. After all, nobody wants to let just anybody into their home!
Our Standards
Absolute Care Services has been approved by social services and is a full member of the United Kingdom Home Care Association. Put simply, that means we have prove the highest standards on a range of criteria in order to be accepted as members. The UKHCA stands behind your rights as a customer, and constantly monitor all member organizations to ensure standards remain high.
Our code of practice
Staff must:
• Show courtesy and consideration.
• Cooperation not just with clients - but also other agencies or professionals involved with their care.
• Show respect. Including respect for privacy and addressing each client by their title, (Mr, Mrs etc) unless the client has requested differently.
• Never smoke.
• Not use a client’s telephone. Except to call a G.P, emergency service or to notify the office of any client changes.
• Wear an Identity card at all times.
• Never take money or gifts under any circumstances.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Work to company policy on confidentiality.
• Respect the client’s right to choose how and when their care package is delivered.
• Report in detail all duties that have been carried out in our client’s personal journal.
• Gain a Client signature after each visit.
• Remember they are a guest in a client’s home.
We have the maximum level of accreditation. Our service is top rated and cannot be beaten. Absolute Care Services is registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission. At each annual inspection we have been awarded the maximum 3 stars.
