ACS Richmond Support Workers Nominated For Dignity In Care Awards!
ACS Richmond Registered Manager – Audrey Ojiaku – said of the nominations “It’s great to see a borough council recognise the efforts of care companies in the community and especially the efforts of the front-line staff who go that extra mile to provide outstanding care and support to local residents. I have built up a fantastic team here in Richmond and am very proud that 12 of my Support Workers have been nominated for an award at this year’s ceremony”.
The awards are in their 4th year in 2016 and promote the good quality of care within the borough and inspire local care workers and personal assistants to maintain high standards of care – something that is incredibly important to us at ACS. There are 4 categories this year – Personal Assistant of the Year, Carer of the Year – Home Support, Carer of the Year – Care Homes, Carer of the Year – Learning Disabilities.
The event will be held on the 16th November 2016 at the Clarendon Hall in Twickenham and we look forward to finding out how our Support Workers get on.
Everyone at ACS delighted to read this wonderful news item in The Telegraph that tells of a new Alzheimer's drug being discovered that halts the mental decline of patients and has been hailed as the best news for dementia in 25 years!
