ACS Richmond Rated 'Good' By The Care Quality Commission
Absolute Care Services (Richmond) are delighted to announce that their latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection report has just been published and the branch has been rated 'Good' across all areas and demonstrates ACS's committment to providing clients across Surrey and Greater London with a high level of care and support.
"Everyone at the Richmond branch is delighted with the results of our latest CQC inspection report. We have worked hard since our last inspection to enure the high standards of care were maintained. Our clients are hugely important to us and we genuninely care deeply for each and every one of them. It's great that the CQC report backs up our commitment and dedication to our wonderful clients."
These inspections allow the Care Quality Commission to check whether the provider is meeting the regulations and legal requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and provide a rating under the Care Act 2014. Absolute Care Services (Richmond) were rated 'Good' across the board which includes being safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-lead.
Much like a football team is led by a Manager, a domiciliary care agency is led by the Registered Manager and best practice is cascaded down throughout the workforce. Our Richmond branch employs over 50 staff in the provision of care and therefore receiving this rating, which includes the CQC talking with our staff and clients, shows that the team is working towards the same goals and are dedicated to providing the branches clients with a high and consistent level of care and support.
We are delighted to announce that no less than 12 of our Richmond Support Workers have been nominated for a Dignity in Care Award 2016! Held by the London Borough of Richmond council, the awards recognise, inspire and celebrate care in Richmond upon Thames.
Everyone at ACS delighted to read this wonderful news item in The Telegraph that tells of a new Alzheimer's drug being discovered that halts the mental decline of patients and has been hailed as the best news for dementia in 25 years!
